Small renovations sure move along quickly!

In 5 days, the finishes were removed, wet wall was insulated, textured ceiling was skim coated with smooth plaster, plumbing was updated, and tile was installed.

I need to get a new camera, my iphone is just not cutting it!

next week: tile grout and sealer, fixture installation,

paint, light fixture, window treatment, ...and finito!

Powder Room Re-do

Our next project will be to complete a gut reno of the powder room (hopefully in time for Easter!)

we are only planning on tiling the floor and the wet wall, and painting the remaining 3 walls (white, of course!).

we wanted to use a classic stone tile, but were also looking for a modern mosaic shape;

after much searching we finally settled on the yellow 1x6 onyx mosaic (a tile that scott had previously installed in a kitchen backsplash- and it looked amazing!)

 

 

i'm looking forward to having a new- fresh- clean powder room!
