so today was a good first day- we made 2 great (money saving) discoveries. #1: beneath the ugly 1970's acoustic ceiling tile we found a "perfectly good" plaster ceiling- so we tore out ALL of that tile. #2: something that we thought could be a beam...was only decorative- so we tore that out too!we only spent about 2 hours in the house, but we were able to remove ceilings, trim, casings and make a big mess...
