photo update!
okay....i realized that it was going to be a while before i could post "finished" photos...so here are some current pix- boxes and mess and all!

today i installed the flip-down tray at the kitchen sink cabinet. it was relatively easy, just time consuming. we bought the kit at lowes...i think it was around $20.

the wall to the right separated the kitchen from what was the living room, but is now the dining room:

we found these bureaus at ikea...they fit the niche perfectly!
guest bedroom:

i hate that valance...ive discovered that i hate drapery alltogether!!!
but i wanted to "stage" this room so buyers could see it as a guest room or a kids room! but right now, its just a room filled with boxes!

i know i know, we are long overdue for a post!
we have been overwhelmed with unpacking since we moved into this flip, and lost a bit of the momentum to renovate, but we are back on track and working on wrapping up the loose ends.
we went to lowes yesterday to pick up the materials for the stair balusters and rails, but as we were wandering through the aisle we saw some lowe's workers standing around two 36" wide base kitchen cabinets and just as we passed them we heard "$10 each"....we almost got whiplash! needless to say, we were soon stuffing the cabinets in the back of the Rav and on our way home! the cabinets are for the laundry room. perfect!
so we never got the stair parts- we will try again today!
